Statement of Faith

​

We believe that all of the Bible, both Old and New Testaments, is without error in the original writing and authoritatively reveals God's character, will and work toward man.

 

Sin has created a barrier between God and every person, but God has made a way for us to return to Him and to escape the punishment that sin elicits from Him.

​

God sent His only son, Jesus Christ, to be a man and live a sinless life on the Earth. Jesus then willingly gave up his life to die on a cross and to pay the death penalty for sin. Jesus was buried and God raised Him to life again on the third day.

​

By faith in Jesus, we are saved to live a new life of renouncing sin and naming Jesus Christ as our Lord and King. God gives the gift of the Holy Spirit to every believer, and by Him, we are transformed to be able to seek God and to love Him acceptably.

​

One day Jesus will return for all his people (the Church) and will judge the world. Our tasks until then are to love our neighbors and to glorify and serve God with our lives.
